Risk Analyst 100%, Zug, Switzerland

For our office in Zug, we are looking for a motivated and self-driven:

In this function you will work in the Risk Management team and will report to the department head. Your responsibilities will mainly include:
• Daily review of the trading P&L’s to ensure correctness and completeness, covering also the correct valuation of open physical and paper positions at market value as well as associated cost of sales
• Daily reconciliation procedure of analyzed figures with responsible traders as well as month-end reconciliation with accounting department and reconciliation of intercompany positions; also monitoring of daily positions of paper hedge positions (swaps and futures) and reconciliation with brokers
• Regular review of storage positions with all movements on a daily basis such as lifting, discharges, month-end rollover stock positions
• Production of reports to traders and management such as exposure reports, weekly bank positions reports, VaR reports
• Ad hoc analysis of markets, products, business cases to support the traders
• Daily review and upload of market prices into the trading system, setting up new price curves for new market locations and products

Your Profile:
• Bachelor or Master’s degree (in Finance, Business, Economics or related field preferred)
• At least 2 years of experience in a mid-size international trading company preferably in a similar role. Working knowledge of trading processes (operations, logistics, shipping, storage, transactional trade finance, hedging) is desired. Experience in the area of biofuels is a plus.
• Good understanding of commodity valuation risk metrics of a trading company (operational/price/ base and currency risks)
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Working experience with ETRM systems, Analysis Tools and SAP Business Objects
• Excellent MS Office skills, knowledge of a coding language is a plus
• Strong communication skills are required to interact daily with front office and senior management
• Full professional proficiency in English
• Detail-oriented team player with high integrity
• Commercially driven, self-motivated, results-oriented problem solver

Trade Finance Specialist

For our office in Zug, we are looking for a motivated and self-driven:

In this function you will work in the Trade Finance team and will report to the Head of Trade Finance. Your responsibilities will mainly include:’?

Tasks:
· Responsible for guiding and executing all Trade Finance activities for a designated operations team.
· Presenting and following up on transactional financing matters with financing banks.
· Approving of issuing and/or confirming banks, reviewing and processing of Export Documentary Letters of Credits (Doc LCs), Standby Letters of Credit (SBLC) and Bank Guarantees.
· Issuing, amending and paying of Import Doc LCs, SBLCs & Guarantees.
· Checking and approving of LC presentations and claims under Export & Import Doc LCs, SBLCs & Guarantees.
· Negotiating and approving of fees with financing banks.
· Updating of all trade finance information in the database.

Requirements:
· At least 2 years of experience working in a Trade Finance Specialist function within a global trading company and/or banking industry.
· Existing strong relationship with major European banks would be an advantage.
· Ability to work under pressure and against deadlines.
· Fluent in English – written and spoken, additional languages would be an advantage.
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to work within a multi-cultural environment.
· Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and think ‘outside of the box’.
· Working in a team environment and yet being responsible for one’s own files for the respective operations section.
· Strong Excel skills would be an advantage.
· Good technical and practical knowledge of UCP 600/ISP 98/URC 522 and Incoterms
· Understanding of banks’ facility letters
· Swiss national or holder of a Swiss work permit
